Because security concepts rely not only on security specialists or technical solutions but also on the behaviour of object users or front staff, customer training bears valuable optimisation potential in terms of security. Practice-oriented training tailored to individual customer needs contributes to improving security in many ways. Training contents are, among others, behaviour in emergencies, how authorities and insurances deal with difficult customers or theft prevention for sales staff. The courses are conducted at the SBSS training facilities or on site at customer premises. Courses on theft prevention, for instance, are conducted in the shop after closing time.

The Swiss Professional Security Academy SBSS has been founded by Securitas AG and is the largest training facility in the private security sector in Switzerland today.
